Zach Wahls, 19, Speaks to Iowa House Judiciary Committee

On January 31st, 2011 a young Zach Wahls, son of two moms, stood up in front of the Iowa House Judiciary Committee on behalf of families headed by same-sex parents to make the case for full marriage equality. Within about 24 hours, the three minute video of his heartfelt, dignified speech was posted to YouTube and received 75,000 views. Zach Wahls is a student, small business owner, author, activist, and most importantly, brother and son.
