It depends on how well rested I am! If I’m well-rested, then I deal with it pretty well. I can reason through things calmly. If I’m not well-rested, then I will often end up in tears and/or speaking gruffly to everyone around me!

I *try* to remember to breathe – specifically to lengthen my exhalation.
Deep breaths, hugs, smiles, and reminders that this too shall pass.
I try to take a few moments to myself. Sitting in the bathroom with the door closed helps.
