Friday Round-Up: Resources for Dads
Today’s dads are growing up in the wake of the women’s movement, and because of it, modern day fatherhood is a whole different animal compared to generations before. Dads tend to be more involved in their kids’ lives, and more and more are staying home, taking on the role of primary caretaker of their children. We at The Mother Company love all the dads in our lives. The following list should serve to help enrich and illuminate all that they are and do. — Laurel Moglen, Managing Web Editor, The Mother Company
The Goodmen Project explores the world of men and manhood in a way no media company ever has, tackling the issues and questions that are most relevant to men’s lives. Topics tackled are about fatherhood, family, sex, ethics, war, gender, politics, sports, pornography, and aging.
It is the mission of The National At-Home Dad Network, to provide support, education and advocacy for fathers who are the primary caregivers of their children. These at-home dads are changing society’s view of what a dad can be. Simply put, these at-home dads are changing the world.
